The Mocs will be holding tryouts this Tuesday and Thursday (February 8 & 10) at Engel Stadium from 3 - 5 PM. They are playing their first games February 12th against Tulane in New Orleans. Go Mocs!!!!

Welcome all to website for the UTC Baseball Club representing the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Our purpose is to promote the sport of baseball and to provide an opportunity for all students to participate in America's past-time at a collegiate level. UT-Chattanooga discontinued their varsity baseball program in 1982 due to Title IX and a lack of funding. This club has brought baseball back to the campus of UTC after a 25 year absence. Founded in the spring of 2007 by current President and Pitcher, Alex Craw, the team has acquired a record of 62 wins and 40 losses in seven semesters (.602 Winning %). The Mocs currently compete in the National Club Baseball Association (NCBA) in the Division IV - Central against Furman, Davidson, and South Carolina. They were supposed to play in the same division as Emory, Macon State, West Georgia College, and Oxford but were shafted by the NCBA and forced to play in a division with conference opponents between five and six hours away.
Being a part of the UTC Mocs Baseball Club will allow members to compete against club teams at other colleges and universities as well as some varsity college programs in a sport that we all love. We realize that our generation is responsible for the preservation and growth of competitive baseball and therefore make it our goal to represent our sport, our sponsors, and our university with class and enthusiasm. Since the Fall 2007 semester, the Mocs are proud to have Little Debbie Snacks (McKee Foods) as a main sponsor.
